Built a permanent team

100% growth

Trunkrs is a Dutch Same-Day-Delivery scale-up. They have a clear vision of sustainability that makes them look beyond their own footprint and make optimal use of existing resources. By the end of 2022, they want to deliver completely emission-free.

Request

Trunkrs, following a new round of funding in the spring of 2020, sought a recruitment partner who could help it meet its ambitious growth targets. There was a need for a partner who could set up recruitment in a scalable way while ensuring the quality of the hires. It was important for Trunkrs to be able to scale up and down flexibly depending on hiring needs.

Our commitment

Because co-entrepreneurship was important to Trunkrs, Recruitment Process Outsourcing was chosen, with De Wervingsfabriek taking on all recruitment tasks. Since there was no recruitment department yet, we started implementing all the building blocks. We started by defining the recruitment processes, implementing a new ATS (recruitment system) and sourcing to hard-to-find candidates. Meanwhile, we built a new career page and set up a referral campaign. We also trained all hiring managers and MT members.

Result

In the midst of this process, Trunkrs went through an exponential growth period due to a nationwide lockdown. The number of orders quadrupled within a week. Due to the strong increase in demand, the number of vacancies also increased exponentially. De Wervingsfabriek scaled up with them, and managed to meet this demand. This allowed Trunkrs to keep up with the growth. After this period, the organization entered calmer waters and De Wervingsfabriek took care of permanently filling the recruitment department.

Jan Wijn, CEO: ”Thanks for the crazy ride. I was very happy with the efforts of De Wervingsfabriek to set up recruitment for Trunkrs professionally and successfully. We were also happy with your flexibility to scale back (covid) and up again after a quick start. We have doubled in staff in the past 15 months because of our cooperation, and all of that remotely. Thank you Guido, Roos and team DWF.”
